A.B.A.T.E. of Pennsylvania
provides a unified, organized and coherent voice for Pennsylvania motorcyclists. Add your voice and join A.B.A.T.E. now, for the preservation of your freedom to ride a motorcycle today and into the future.. . .
A.B.A.T.E. of Pennsylvania maintains a staffed business office in the Harrisburg area, where the computerized membership database is managed, and the monthly newsletter is produced, and legislative affairs are managed.
Legislative affairs are managed by a team which consist of a paid professional lobbyist and an elected volunteer. These individuals work upward through the legislative networks of the state and federal governments and downward through the A.B.A.T.E. legislative network at the district and chapter levels. Their efforts are enhanced by a political action committee called Bike PAC, which is utilized to make monetary contributions to politicians who support favorable legislation.
We also work closely with other motorcyclists’ rights organizations through affiliation with the American Motorcyclist Association, Motorcycle Riders Foundation and the National Coalition of Motorcyclists.
WHAT'S EXPECTED OF AN A.B.A.T.E. of PA MEMBER?
Members who attend chapter meetings and participate in chapter events form a strong bond of brotherhood unique to the biker community. Motorcycle ownership is not a requirement for membership nor does it matter what brand of motorcycle you ride.
All Members are urged to be registered voters and participate in the political process.
